Jacqueline Nyren, MPT has been practicing physical therapy since receiving her Masters Degree in Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University in 1997. Originally from Northern Virginia, she received her Bachelor of Science in Education from George Mason University in 1994 and participated on the GMU Varsity Women’s Tennis for four years. She has worked throughout the tri-state area for over 12 years specializing in outpatient treatment of general orthopedic conditions including spinal care, sports related injuries, and post-operative rehabilitation. She has organized and participated in many Running Clinics, and has extensive knowledge for evaluation and treatment of biomechanical injuries involving the distance athlete. Jackie has also been fitting and modifying custom foot orthotics for over eight years.
In addition to enjoying her career as a physical therapist for BioMechanic Physical Therapy, Jackie has a busy family life with her husband and two very energetic four-year-old twins. She completed a full Ironman triathlon and Half Ironman and currently plays women’s recreational soccer, and chases her children endlessly.
